Les collyres à instiller comprennent un antibiotique local, et une association antibiotique+anti inflammatoire. La durée de prescription varie selon les chirurgiens entre 15 jours à un mois après l’intervention. En plus de ces médications, on recommande au patient d’hydrater copieusement ses yeux avec du sérum physiologique ou des larmes artificielles, même en l’absence de symptômes liés à l’induction d’une sécheresse oculaire.
